Stamford Bridge Was Quite Literally Not Blue After A Long Time
AWAY FANS FILL THE BRIDGE WITH YELLOW SMOKE; HOME FANS ENJOYED THE COMEBACK (YES THAT'S THE PUN XD)

*This was personally my most favourite fixture as a CHELSEA FAN YET.*

POTTER MAKES A STATEMENT
Graham Potter and Marc Cucurella were hanging on the edge for this historic match up with the Borussians. They had a 1-0 lead on aggregate because of a win in an intense first leg game. Marc Cucurella with a match winning performance as a LCB (no surprise there, just wonder why Potter didn't do the obvious like wayyyyy before). Potter finally decided to go with a 3-4-3 and without doubt it worked like bliss. Playing both Chilwell and Cucurella did the squad wonders in terms of chance creation because the left flank was finally properly backed up.ATTACKING AND LUCK
Raheem Sterling, the first goal scorer, scoring off a cross from Ben Chilwell (3-4-3 working like bliss moment), actually got lucky there to be honest. He missed the brilliant cross on first attempt but his positioning was good enough as he got in front of the defence line thereby getting him off pressure. He then launched it into the goal post as the keeper jumped the other way, making the home team get back in the game.
The problem of poor finishing however still persisted in the squad. So many sitters were wasted in the first half but after a long time luck did fall on Chelsea's side. In the second half, Havertz got a penalty to score from a handball by Schlotterbeck, but he screwed it up when he hit the post and couldn't reach the rebound. Lucky enough, he got another chance to take the penalty owing to his slow run up that caused a BVB defender to step off his line and move front because of the intense atmosphere and situation. He then took the second chance without any mistake and that put Chelsea in front making it 2-1.
THE BLUE WALL
Can't really forget the "Blue wall" of defence in Cucurella, Fofana and Koulibaly, they were impenetrable as BVB just never found the "oomph". It was yet another Kepa masterclass as well and it's becoming a usual consistent sight for the blues to see him step up game after game making world class high adrenaline saves.
Into the quarter finals again and can't fail to think about the UCL chances. That is our only chance and we have to make it. We are Chelsea and we win.
