Who let Poch cook?

"Lose our pull" Liverpool suffer yet another draw against the blues having claimed to always be better than us. It was a tale of physicality and mind and at the end of the day- the mind didn't give up and held on to a draw-which should have been a well deserved win for Chelsea.
Chelsea almost grabbed 3 points after a fantastic comeback from 1-0 down. In what was a very dramatic game, Chelsea went 1-0 down very early in the first half as M.Salah assisted L.Diaz who converted pretty easily, making it seem like Chelsea were caught off guard and done for. And later when Salah scored, it all seemed to be done as Chelsea now had a mountain to climb. But the goal was disallowed and Chelsea somehow decided they were going to step up the gear. And there came the chance for Poch to show his masterclass. It was as though the whole squad was revamped immediately and everyone was determined to infiltrate that defence that was struggling with the pace and long balls. And soon enough they were gifted with a goal as Disasi got there in time to put it past A.Becker.
After this goal, Chelsea dominated the entire game and didn't allow Liverpool to breathe and that would be an understatement. Reece James, the 23 yr. old captain, following John Terry stepped up big time, alongside a brilliant debut for Lewi Colwill and of course the 38 year old GOAT Thiago Silva. Ben Chilwell soon got back with a goal, but it was then called offside again as the score was (Again) reset to 1-1. Nicholas Jackson and Mudryk, after a long spell of domination by Chelsea, continued to increase Liverpool's problems as their defenders couldn't get a hold of their pace. Late in the second half, they almost won it for Chelsea but Mudryk was forced wide and the score remained unchanged.
Klopp was seen to be extremely animated inside his box, probably didnt expect this from Chelsea after the previous season. This was Salah's first PL opening day without a goal after a long time, and all it took was Levi Colwill putting him in his pocket. Even though the overall performance seemed good, Carney and Sterling could have contributed more to the attack and Sanchez understandably requires more time to settle in as he seemed to make errors in distribution which almost led to Darwin Nunez scoring.
Overall a 7/10 performance by Chelsea and it's great that this is where we are starting after the PL Summer Series win. Pochettino is definitely cooking and the fans can't wait to see what's building.
